TechNet Academy Refund Policy

At TechNet Academy, we are committed to delivering high-quality educational experiences. We understand that circumstances may change, which is why we offer a fair and transparent refund policy in accordance with UK consumer protection laws. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing or enrolling in any course.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible to request a refund under the following conditions:

  • You request the refund within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase.
  • You have not completed more than 20% of the course content.
  • You have not downloaded any course material marked as non-refundable (e.g., PDFs, certificates, proprietary content).
  • The course was purchased directly from TechNet Academy (not via third-party platforms or partners).

This policy applies to both self-paced and instructor-led courses.

2. How to Request a Refund

  • Email address used for registration
  • Name of the course
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for refund request (optional but appreciated)

Refund requests are processed within 5–10 business days of confirmation. Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
  • The refund request is made after 14 days of purchase
  • You have accessed or completed more than 20% of the course
  • The course was purchased at a discounted price or during a promotional campaign (unless otherwise stated)
  • The course includes downloadable non-refundable content (e.g., exclusive templates, case studies, premium documents)
  • Refunds are requested due to change of mind after significant course progress

4. Course Transfers or Credit

In some cases, we may offer the option to:

  • Transfer your enrollment to another course of equal or lesser value.
  • Receive credit toward a future course

This is at the sole discretion of TechNet Academy and is not guaranteed.

5. Refunds for Bundle Purchases or Subscriptions

If you purchased a bundle (multiple courses) or subscription, the refund policy applies only if:

  • You have not completed more than 20% of any course in the bundle
  • You request a refund within 14 days of purchase

For subscriptions, refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

6. Refunds for Technical Issues

If you are unable to access a course due to technical issues on our end, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time (typically 3–5 working days), you may be eligible for a full refund. Proof (e.g., screenshots or videos) may be required.

7. Exceptions

We reserve the right to make exceptions in genuine cases of hardship or extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, accidental purchases), provided that credible evidence is submitted.

All exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and remain at the discretion of TechNet Academy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. Changes will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the policy update.
